Advantages of our jointless shaft system made of PE-HD and reinforced concrete

Our DORANT and HEKANT pumping stations offer considerable technical advantages thanks to their innovative shaft system made of PE-HD and reinforced concrete. The shaft system consists of three parts: Ceiling and base plate made of PE-HD with a reinforced concrete core and a double-walled PE-HD spiral pipe as a spiral shaft. These parts are firmly welded together, creating a seamless and extremely stable overall system.
The greatest advantage of this system is its absolute watertightness. Joints are often a weak point in traditional shaft systems and can lead to water leakage. Our permanently welded, jointless system, on the other hand, offers particular safety and reliability.

Comparison with other systems:
- PE-HD shafts in classic construction: A concrete cover is usually used here, which is supposed to be protected by a sealing ring, but this often does not work well. - Shaft systems in concrete construction: With greater installation depths, these systems often have several joints as they are completed on site. This significantly increases the risk of leaks.
