Pumping stations with PE-HD shaft systems in groundwater require a stable base plate to protect the armatures in the interior.

The base plate is crucial because groundwater exerts enormous forces on the shaft system. Traditional shaft systems made of PE-HD can bulge inwards in the event of strongly pressing groundwater, leading to long-term damage in the armatures. However, the DORANT system, with its reinforced concrete base plate, remains stable even at high groundwater levels. The armatures in the interior remain permanently protected, thanks to the position remaining unchanged. The innovative complete pumping station solution features a sandwich construction of PE-HD and reinforced concrete, which complement each other's advantages.
