Our DORANT and HEKANT pumping stations offer significant technical advantages thanks to their innovative shaft system made of PE-HD and reinforced concrete. The shaft system consists of three parts: the top and bottom plates made of PE-HD with a reinforced concrete core, and a double-walled PE-HD spiral pipe as the cylindrical shaft. These parts are firmly welded together, creating a seamless and highly stable overall system.
The biggest advantage of this system is its absolute waterproofing. Joints in conventional shaft systems are often weak points that can lead to water ingress. Our firmly welded, seamless system, on the other hand, offers exceptional safety and reliability.

Comparison with other systems:

  • PE-HD shafts in classic construction: Typically, a concrete cover is used, which is supposed to be protected by a sealing ring, but this often doesn’t work well.
  • Shaft systems in concrete construction: With greater installation depths, these systems often have multiple joints since they are completed on-site. This significantly increases the risk of leaks.
