Maximum stability of the ceiling and base plates of our PE-HD pumping stations

The structural stability of pumping stations is a crucial factor for reliability and safety in water and wastewater technology. Our DORANT and HEKANT pumping stations offer an outstanding solution with their innovative shaft systems made of PE-HD and reinforced concrete plates.

Requirements for the ceiling and base plates:

  • Ceiling plates: They must be statically stable and trafficable to withstand the high demands during operation.
  • Base plates: These are subject to particularly strong groundwater forces, especially at greater installation depths.

Feature of our system:
Our pumping stations combine PE-HD with reinforced concrete to form a composite material that provides a unique static connection. Reinforced concrete is ideally suited to absorb vertical forces due to its high strength.

  • Ceiling and base plates: These are made of PE-HD with a reinforced concrete core and are seamlessly welded to the PE-HD shaft casing pipe.

The ideal combination of PE-HD and reinforced concrete ensures maximum stability and longevity of our pumping stations.
