The Pumping Station in the Norddeich National Park During the Stormy Autumn Season

The special feature is the installation location, as it is situated on the seaside of the dike.

During the summer months, the pumping station is used for draining the restroom facilities along the beach promenade. During the cold season, strong storm surges often occur, flooding the pumping station by up to five meters.

No matter how strong the storm surge is, the DORANT pumping station remains safely anchored in the ground. The overhang of the strong base plate of the shaft system acts as a counter-support, and the weight of the reinforced concrete provides a counteracting force.

With its completely watertight PE interior and pressure-resistant cover, the system remains unaffected by external influences and is always operational.

A great overall package, even for special use cases.
